My Favourite ID Books in 2023
Because learning is never done and because we here in Alberta have a very long and cold winters, I start “collecting” books for these long days and because I actually use them on a daily basis.
Books that are currently on my reach are these. The last one I purchased in 2023, and honestly didn’t have any expectations was “The Art Of Home” by Shea McGee. I was positively surprised how detailed and organized it is. I have it on my coffee table and I can not stop reading it al over again!
From the same author I bought older one and it is “Make Life Beautiful Extended Edition” by Syd and Shea McGee. I haven’t finished it yet, so no comment here. 🙂
Also if you are a beginner in Interior Design I would highly suggest having “The Interior Design Handbook: Furnish, Decorate and Style your Space” by Frida Ramstedt always close.
And when Matt and I are looking for a architectural inspiration we often look at “Homes for Our Time” by Philip Jodidio.Â
We can not forget about almost a bible in every Interior Desiners Home and these are:
The Kinfolk Home by Nathan Williams
Homebody: A Guide to Creating Spaces You Never Want to Leave by Joanna Gaines
I also did purchased: “Architectural  Digest at 100: A Century of Style” but I didn’t invest to much time in exploring it. But it is a very nice piece you can use in any Interior.
Happy reading!
If you have any suggestions please share it with me!
